The Chico Planning Commission is inviting the public to provide comments orally or in writing on its draft 2022-2030 housing element 6 p.m. June 2 at the City Council Chambers, according to a press release.

“It is anticipated that the Housing Element will be considered by the City Council at its July 5, 2022 meeting,” the press release said.

The draft may be reviewed at https://www.chicohousingelement.com/resources.

Written comments may be submitted prior to the hearing by emailing Housing Manager Marie Demers at marie.demers@chicoca.gov, submitting in person to the Chico Community Development Department located at 411 Main St., second floor; or mailing to P.O. Box 3420, Chico, CA 95927.
